Community Groups
Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 8:00 at church in the fellowship hall
Weekly we gather together to share our life, to learn from the Bible and pray with and for one another. This is where the church gets real practical. It is during our community group meeting that we can ask question, listen, and learn. In our Community grows we see God at work in and through not only our lives, but in the lives of others. Please contact the church if you are interested in joining a community group.
Children's Ministry
Sunday morning from 10:00 – 12 p.m.
We love and care for the children in the church. Donna Jackson, a mom and trained children’s leader oversees this ministry. For the safety of the children and the peace of mind for the parents, we value security and service. All of the children's workers are background checked and have been a part of the church’s ministry for over six months before they serve in this precious ministry. We work hard in helping the children have a relevant Bible teaching moment that connects with each child at their station in life.
Men's Ministry
First Saturday of the month from 7:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.(Currently not meeting due to Covid-19)
As go the men, so go the church. Larry Huntoon heads up this ministry. On the first Saturday of the month, we have a morning men’s breakfast where we gather around the table, share our hearts, and have a lesson geared specifically toward the challenges that men face. Out of this meeting, the men developed close and trusting relationships where they share their struggles as well as help one another grow in faith.
Hand's Up Ministry
We also have a special Hand-Up meeting where we cook a meal, have a Bible teaching, and then give away food to those in need on the last Monday of the month as dictated by the individual’s need. We believe in a hand-up, not just a hand out. Therefore, when we give a hand-out, it is always accompanied with prayer and the expectation that there is hope not just physically, but spiritually for whatever predicament a person finds themselves in at the moment. Weekly we give out bread and commodities to those in need. But, more important, we have a team of people who pray for each person who asks for assistance. We have seen people healed, relationships restored, and lives given over to Christ through this simple act of giving away some bread and offering some prayer.
